Freedom of Forgiveness
- Mark 11:25 (Amplified),
“And when you stand praying, if you have anything
against anyone, forgive him, and let it drop (leave it,
let it go), in order that your Father Who is in heaven
may also forgive you your [own] failings and
shortcomings and let them drop.”
- Integrity comes from the
word integrate, meaning your beliefs, words, and actions
need to be perfectly integrated. If you say you love
Him, your actions must be to love and forgive others.
- On a wall in Folsom
prison, “If you can’t do the time, don’t do the crime.”
Why are so many believers in prisons of their own making
doing the time for somebody else’s crime against them?
- Why should you forgive a
molester, a rapist, or an abuser? Because God says this
is how you remove yourself from the equation of pain,
anger, and fear that you’ve not known how to get free
from.
- Begin dealing with your
unforgiveness by praying the binding and loosing prayers
for yourself, particularly loosing any wrong thinking
towards the other person.
- If you refuse to
forgive, you end up bound to your transgressor unable to
move forward any faster than you can drag that person
and his/her offenses along with you.
- Do not confuse having to
walk out the consequences of something you have done
wrong with whether or not God has forgiven you for
having done it.
- Forgiveness is like
taking an emotional shower.
